Title: Reflection ^^  Good evening everyone, am here to share with you my thought of graciousness. I think Graciousness is something that most Singaporean are lacking in. For example, on the bus, people are always standing at the exit door or near to the door, they will never move to the back. Even though the bus driver ask them to move in, they will take their time to move in. When there is senior citizen, children or pregnant woman on bus, only a few will give up the seat to them, for the others, they will pretend to sleep or did not see anything. On the MRT, the same thing happen and more worst, people are bringing in the food and drink on MRT and start eating. I have seen people just leave their tissue paper, sweet wrapper and even water bottle behind when they get down of the MRT. On the road, I often see a lot of rubbish being left behind. As the whole world know that Singapore is a very clean and beautiful country, but what if the tourist come to Singapore, see a lot of litter along the road, how will they think of us? Singaporean should be more gracious so that tourist will have good expression of us, so they next time they will come to Singapore again. Graciousness is about caring for people, considerate, be kind. I think it is not something difficult to learn of. Just an simple act like giving up of seat to the people that need the seat more than you, and that is gracious. So let's start to be gracious today! =3 xXShiHuaXx |
