Title: reflection :D

Hello.

To me, graciousness is to be considerate, helpful and be polite. Example, giving up seat for the elderly or pregnant woman. Be considerate, by keeping the toilet or environment clean. Considerate also mean showing respect. Graciousness is a value you inculcate from young. I think that most Singaporeans are very ungracious. But, sometimes I think that I'm ungracious too. This is Singaporean. You think that somebody is very ungracious, but you didnt realise that you are ungracious too. Sometimes when I am taking bus to school, some people will block the way when you are going to alight. What if the bus driver didn't know that you are alighting and he close the door? I think that people should let others alight first, then find a seat to sit down. Some people are like desperate for a seat. They can't wait to sit down and they will squeeze into your seat before you alight the bus.

After watching the video and reading the articles, I realised that Singapore really have a lot of ungracious people. The articles are about the ungracious act in the toilets, cinemas and foodcourts. In the toilets, there are toilet paper everywhere. It's very dirty and smelly, floors and toilet seats are spattered with urine and used sanitary towels, and footprints left on the toilet seats. In the cinemas, people leave their rubbish inside. In fact, I did this too! :P But some people who are sitting behind you will kick your chair halfway through the movie. In the foodcourts, people leave their plates on the table. All these is some acts of ungraciousness. Therfore, I seriously think that we should raise the awareness of graciousness to everyone. ^^

bye!
